खाकी वेब सीरीज आजकल मैं स्ट्रीमिंग में देख रहा हूं और यह दो भाषा और दो लोकेलिटी को ध्यान में रखते हुए दो खाकी बनाई गई है लेकिन जो मैं खाकी देख रहा हूं वह बिहार की लोकेलिटी को लेकर बनाई हुई खाकी है । बिहार चैप्टर वाली खाकी दूसरी बंगाल चैप्टर की तुलना में अच्छी वेब सीरीज है ऐसा लोगों ने फीडबैक दिया तो मैने देखना चालू किया। अगर आपके पास दूसरा कोई नया विकल्प देखने को नहीं है तो आप इस बिहार वाले खाकी में अपना कुछ मनोरंजन का साधन ढूंढ सकते हैं। इस खाकी में एक आईपीएस ऑफिसर रहता है जो चंदन महतो नाम के एक गैंगस्टर को पकड़ने के फिराक में पड़ता है यह इस कहानी का मूल आधार बनाया गया है।

चंदन महतो कैसे चंदन महतो बनता है यह बड़ी साधारण अंदाज में दिखने की कोशिश की गई है लेकिन अंदाज साधारण होने के साथ-साथ उसके बनने का तरीका भी साधारण ही रहता है। उसे दिखाने की तो कोशिश की गई है रक्षा के जैसा लेकिन उस तरह से दिखा नहीं पाया गया है जैसे गैंग्स ऑफ़ वासेपुर में दिखाया गया है। अगर आप इसकी तुलना गेम्स ऑफ वासेपुर से करने की कोशिश करेंगे तो आपका मनोरंजन खराब हो सकता है आप बहुत ज्यादा हाई लेवल एसपेक्टेशन सेट करके मत चले इसको देखने से पहले बस इतना ध्यान में रखिएगा कि यह कहानी आपको थोड़ा बहुत बांध लेंगे लेकिन बिल्कुल गैंग्स ऑफ़ वासेपुर के लेवल का मनोरंजन नहीं देता है क्योंकि यह एक वेब सीरीज है और वेब सीरीज जैसे आजकल बनाया जा रहे हैं वैसे ही बनाने की कोशिश की गई है।

इस वेब सीरीज का सीन स्टार्ट होता है एक रेलवे स्टेशन से जहां एक न्यूली मैरिड कपल जिसकी पोस्टिंग बिहार हो रही होती है एक आईपीएस ऑफिसर के तौर पर । वहां से दिखाया गया है बिहार में ट्रेन एंट्री होती है तो बिहार में ट्रेनों का दृश्य क्या होता है यह भी दिखाया गया है बिहार के छोटे-छोटे करप्शन कैसे होते हैं यह भी दिखाया गया कि बड़े लेवल के को बहुत पिछले स्तर पर बहुत गहराई में घुस के नहीं दिखाया गया है। इसमें सबसे भयानक दृश्य वहां का दिखाया गया है जहां पर चंदन महतो एक पूरे गांव को खत्म कर देता है।

खाकी: द बिहार चैप्टर एक जबरदस्त क्राइम-थ्रिलर वेब सीरीज़ है जो सच्ची घटनाओं से प्रेरित है। इसमें पुलिस और अपराध की दुनिया के बीच की टकराहट को बहुत ही रियलिस्टिक तरीके से दिखाया गया है। करण टेकर (IPS अमित लोढ़ा) और अविनाश तिवारी (चंदन महतो) के अभिनय को दर्शकों ने खूब सराहा है।

Lately, I’ve been watching the web series Khakee on streaming platforms. Interestingly, the creators have developed two versions of Khakee, keeping in mind two different languages and localities. The one I’m watching is focused on the Bihar locality — Khakee: The Bihar Chapter.

Compared to the other version, The Bengal Chapter, many viewers have given feedback that the Bihar one is much better, which is why I decided to give it a try. If you currently don’t have anything new on your watchlist, this Bihar-based Khakee can definitely offer you some solid entertainment.

At the heart of this series is an IPS officer determined to catch a gangster named Chandan Mahto — that’s the central plot. The transformation of Chandan Mahto into a dreaded criminal is shown in a very grounded and simplistic manner. And while the storytelling tries to present him as a terrifying figure, it doesn’t quite reach the level of portrayal we saw in Gangs of Wasseypur.

If you go in expecting something on the same scale as Gangs of Wasseypur, your experience might be a little disappointing. So, don’t set your expectations too high — just keep in mind that while the story will hold your attention, it won’t deliver that same level of cinematic thrill. It’s made like most web series these days — engaging, but within a certain creative limit.

The series opens at a railway station, where a newly married couple arrives — the husband being newly posted in Bihar as an IPS officer. From there, it captures the gritty reality of train travel in Bihar and sheds light on the everyday corruption that exists in small pockets of the system. However, the deeper and more systemic issues aren’t explored at a very intense level.

One of the most intense and horrifying scenes in the series is when Chandan Mahto wipes out an entire village — a moment that truly stands out.
